Very possible though Cotto also has a chance to stop him. I'm picking Cotto by UD.

Margo will walk through him unless Cotto can put a stop to these rushes with some pain.

marg is not going to be able to handle the punishment coming his way. You guys gotta remeber he is up there in age. He started fighting at like what 15? in true mexican fashion his mileage is up way farther than normal fighters. But besdies all that, the ****ign guy has no defense and is slow. Cotto is going to land and land so easily that he is probably going to have fun with margo. Margo is going to get knocked out and the smart bet would be a cotto KO in which the odds would be damn good.

I see Margarito not starting slow at all and attacking Cotto the moment the bell rings. I see a few tough rounds for Cotto in the beginning till he makes adjustments (like he always does) and he will outbox Margatio to a close but clear UD. Never bet against Cotto!

I think the outcome will depend on how well margo handles cottos power. They are both going to get hit and hit often because neither one neglects the body and that opens up opportunities for both. I dont think cotto has faced a fighter as tough as margo and if he throws the best he's got at margo and margo keeps coming unfaced, then it's all downhill for him.

There never was a reason for Margarito not coming forward and put punches together. Cotto has that chance to slip Tony's left lead and whack him with some all mighty counter hooks... But that is not a reason to stop going at it. Margo is 30 years old but he's still in perfect shape and can deliever 130 punches per round ( vs Cintron round 2)... If he comes at Cotto nonstop and connects with 40 % of punches thrown, he has a better chance of overwhelming the smaller man than Cotto has of catching him with a big shot...

    Cotto TKO 6th round.

I am rooting for Margo though!

If Cotto comes in with the mindset that he's going to trade with Margarito he's going to get caught by a bull**** punch ... and we all know with Margarito's stamina, endurance, and workrate that he's not going to let up on Cotto and won't stop coming.

I read the Margarito quote and I think that he can make that statement true ... its very possible that it could happen.

I'm torn between the fight because one side of me knows what Cotto can do on the boxing end and the other side knows what cruicial mistakes and flaws that Cotto carries into the ring.

He's such a hype that you bothered to come in here and waste your valuable time to rag him on. And to think it probably took you three hours just to think and write that. Tsk...tsk...tsk :rofl :rofl :rofl

That is what is surprising. I haven't known Margarito to talk so openly yet he is kinda talking trash here. Very uncharacterisitic of Margarito. Maybe he is just trying to hype the fight. :huh
