I've said it a million times before and I'll say it again - if that was done in a normal setting outside of sports competition I would not let that **** fly. It would totally be out of line. I guess the hard part is achieving universal agreement on where the line is drawn. If we are to condemn Team Margarito then the same rule should apply to ALL parties involved in the sport of Boxing which include the Ricardo Mayorgas, the Bernard Hopkins, the Mayweathers, the Mike Tysons, the Muhammad Alis, etc. etc. Let's hate on all these individuals because they have factually done and said worse things than Team Margarito. You can't single out one party and let the others off the hook when they've committed the same crime. We can implement the new rule and condemn a high percentage of pretentious athletes OR we can just shrug things like this off and presume it's trash-talking 101 which is acceptable in the world of extreme sports. Which is it?

I happen to think karma is taking a **** on Team Pacquiao's face. First they snubbed outstanding, deserving, qualified fighters by letting Margarito cut in front of the line. Then they start talking **** about him. As a result his team fires back. Well, what the hell do you expect from a guy who was suspended for cheating? Did you really think he was gonna turn into perfect angel trained to kiss your ass? It's like if you hired an uneducated fool over someone who is highly competent, chances are you're gonna regret it. If I'm Team Pac, I stop the bitching, shut my mouth, and just go out there and whip that ass on Saturday night. Move on and use it as a learning experience. End of story.

He trains Manny, he doesn't control him. If Manny doesn't want to have blood taken in the build up to a fight, that's his choice. Roach cannot force him, nor can he cure him. Maybe Floyd needs to be a little more reasonable in his demands. Suddenly developing a conscience that tells him now is the time to clean up the sport isn't going to fly. His demands totally have nothing to do with the fact that he knows Emmanuel has an aversion to blood tests just prior to fighting. Honest.

I'm a huge Pac fan, but, his decision to give this cheating piece of **** a monster pay day, really disappointed me.

One can only hope that Margarito will get what's coming to him.

Probably because he doesn't give a **** if he underperforms whilst in the gym. He may have had blood taken the day before, but he will still continue to spar as normal - he just may feel weak in the process. You want him curled up in bed for three days?

Pacquiao's point is he doesn't feel the same for a few days - mentally, physically, whatever. He can still spar as it means nothing if he isn't sharp. He'll just be back in the gym the following day to spar again. But if he isn't sharp on fight night? ****, that could be disastrous.

Your point makes no sense; Why would he be willing to spar when he's not at 100%, when he's unwilling to fight Mayweather at 100%?

Surely you can see his logic here. Sparring the day after having blood taken - regardless of the temperature - is in no way the same as fighting in the biggest bout of his career the day after having blood taken.

Everyone keeps saying "Roach had this coming to him!" What they fail to observe is that making fun of Freddie's Parkinson' isn't just a direct shot at him -- It's making fun of anyone who has that disease. I'm not surprised a lot of the mongloids on here don't understand that.
