    Really that simple!

At the time of Margarito's controversty, Cotto jumped on it like a vulture and started pointing the finger.
The same opportunity was given Sergio Martinez who had been stopped by Margarito, but he acted with a little more class and instead of reaching for a crutch of an excuse for getting stopped, simply said, "Margarito didn't load against me, I didn't feel anything unusual in his punches, he simply beat me."

    A coincidence?

I'm pretty sure he just didn't fancy the fights and had made enough money where he didn't need them.

I feel bad for Margarito he never had a chance to fight void. Sugar shame Mosroid ****ed his career up with the bogus allegations. I hope sugar shame is ashamed of himself.Margarito deserved to fight void in his prime and the fans were robbed of a fight they will now never get to see, thanks Void Sinclair's JR you had a habit of ducking boxers left-right and center when they were in their primes. :patsch

Maidana is actually a tougher opponent than Margarito

The Margarito that beat Cotto would have made mince meat out of Marcos Maidana. Margarito has destroyed better welterweights.

Yeah especially with that plaster, so what happened to him following the Cotto fight, why couldn't he keep the steak going?

Margarito's prime ended after the Cotto fight. He had been fighting pro for 15 years. Hard brutal wars.

Yea 16 years of being a professional pressure fighter had nothing to do with his decline.
