BUT Did he ever QUIT !!!! NO But that whiner Cotto quit in his knees in surrender & was fixing to repeat till the NY doc stepped in & saved him. They knew Tony was blind in that eye from round 2 but the doc didnt think of stopping the fight till Cotto started to wilt AGAIN!!!!! Pac destroyed Tony's eye & gave Cowardly Cotto a chance to rematch him knowing this but never once did Tony ever think of QUITTING like Cotto did

 

Indeed. Toughest guy ever doesn’t load up his gloves, then leave his team to take the hit. Sorry.

Guy had a great chin though, and could certainly take a beating.

Margarito went down on exhaustion. He was smiling still after Shane landed 200 flush roided bombs. I mean, Cotto couldn't lay a vicious beating on him and KO him even after Pac got done w/ him.

 

Was Mosely on roids for that fight? Yeah he got caught before that, but nothing ever came up for the Margarito fight. Did I miss something?

But Nothing came up in the fight he was exposed for did it. It was only after his opponent confessed they had BOTH juiced. Was it Richard Hall?? They both supposedly passed the pre fight tests though Thanks to BALCO the cheating scum was exposed though

Toughness is something you should only rely on when you're in the trenches

You won't be tough for long taking punishment and damage fight after fight.

It's one of the attributes in boxing you don't want to rely on, but it's the mark of a fantastic born and bred fighting man when you do have that card to pull & show what you're made of.

You see it a lot in the pro game where skilled boxers are supposidly going to be "tested" by the puncher, then people find out they are made of iron so that hope is out of the window.

Margarito suffered permanent eye damage in his Pacquiao bout. Fact that he fought on for years says alot. That's a career-ending injury for many fighters. I hope Dubious got off lightly.

 

What's that have to do with the Margarito fight. You know, the fight Margo loaded his gloves, was found out by Richardson and suspended. Mosely on the other hand came out of that fight clean as a whistle, went on to fight a very lucrative fight with Mayweather, a fight that Margo probably would have had if he beat Mosely. But, both Margo and Mosley are cheating *******s.
