FM has some explaining to do. If I was a betting man, I'd say FM did some dirty ****, no doubt. Perhaps I am prejudiced. Using PED's doesn't seem as bad as loading the gloves to me, but cheating is cheating and the guilty should be held accountable and punished.
All cheating is bad, boxing is dangerous enough as it is without cowards using illegal means to secure a victory I'l agree 100% glove loading is worst of all . Anyone proven to have done it like Panama Lewis & Resto should be charged with attempted murder. Big difference here is Antonio Margarito has NEVER been proven to have done anything wrong. All this BS was started by that lying POS & his " PLASTER BLOCKS" lies. The CSAC fell for it, or was behind it , & the rest is history. At most Javier Capetillo was guilty of ACCIDENTLY placing a harmless used pad in a wrap instead of a new one. There was NEVER EVER anything dangerous in Margarito's wraps other than his fists
I think he wins against the right styles. Just watching Spence now, he would give Spence hell. I can also see him beating the likes of Thurman, Spence, Garcia. Spence seems like a more skilled, smaller, less power version of him. Both just overwhelms with workrate and toughness. I, however, see guys like Crawford outboxing him easily.
I agree, even though odds makers had him as a 3-to-1 underdog. Shane grew up training with Mexicans in SoCal gyms and knew exactly how to handle Margarito’s style.
Margarito was exhausted...from Shane gettin’ in his @ss from the opening bell. BALCO Shane pushed Margarito back the whole way. Margarito was not used to fighting off the back foot and took a savage, career altering beating. He was never the same after Shane.
You exaggerate. Margarito went on to give prime Pacquiao the toughest and most physically grueling fight of his career.
I came here to see if some had said it already. Checked, bye bye. I've nothing to add, everything has been already said XD.
