Careful now... C.J. is going to come along and slam you. Fear not, I’ve studied it. There’s a formula to his madness:

1. It usually starts with a wall of text that has RANDOM CAPITALS, not to mention oddly placed extra punctuation!!!!!!!!!
   
2. He will move onto working within Whataboutism realms and bring up his currently disliked fighters usually with a statement like “What about when Floyd used an IV and SOME PEOPLE GAVE HIM JELLYBEANS!!”
   
3. He will mention how he knows Margarito (Tony to him, you peasant) and he was INNOCENT

Every now and then when I see Margarito mentioned in threads I clear him off my ignore, pour myself a glass of Blue Label Ghost and see if I can reason with him. I’m a sadist like that.

Be warned...

He can’t be reasoned with, he can’t be argued with. He doesn’t feel pity or remorse or fear and he absolutely will not stop, ever, until you know Margarito is god-saint of a man, a mythical manbeast hybrid who was and I quote “INNOCENT!!!!!!”

Still can’t explain why Margarito had zero knock outs post glove controversy while fighting some suspect B and C level guys like Roberto Garcia and Jorge Páez Jr.

plaster was ever found in his wraps. You cannot there isnt one. If there was they'd have been sued in a heartbeat .

Boxers have many reasons why they are on steroids. James Toney used it I believe it was the Nandralone because he had a torn bicep and he needed to heal it faster. Also luis Ortiz was taking blood pressure medication, somehow got popped for an anti-masking agent. Also guys like jmm and Canelo get busted because they eat the Tijuana meat.

I always told people that what made margarita great was his relentless pressure , his cardio put such a mental drain on his opponent’s. It was not his power that beat corto it was his chin, will and cardio. Cotto was tired and defeated mentally .

 

Someone that knows what he's talking about. Tony took Cotto's heart & made him quit. When Tony's eye was permanently damaged in the Pac fight cotto's people convinced him to fight Tony again knowing his eye would likely give out. Remember how they made Tony break training & fly across country so that NY doc could " Make sure his eye was fit to fight" I think it was the opposite thats why Cotto immediately targetted it. Tony was blind in that eye from round 2 & the doc knew it but waited till deja vu looked imminent Cotto STILL couldnt beat a one eyed Margarito & was wilting just like fight one only then did that doc think of stopping the fight not to save Tony's eye but to save Cotto QUITTING AGAIN!!!!!! Did Tony QUIT ??? Hell no that word isnt in his dictionary
