Antonio Margarito vs Alfredo Angulo

Margarito by attrition, better chin.

 

Angulo can withstand anything that shot Margarito has to offer. The power is not behind Tony and his work rate has dialed down a bit. He still swells up badly under that Pac damaged eye.

Angulo loves to run into punches and unless Tony is going to get "slick" overnight it will be a fight to see who the ref stops first.

 

Both should retire

This fight needs to be made. Angulo has the edge in power and slight edge in chin, but even a slowed down Margarito's better in every other category, and the better overall fighter. Angulo has the ****tiest defence you'll see in a world class fighter.

Even if Angulo manages to drop, even badly hurt Margarito I think Margarito outboxes and outhustles Angulo to pull it out.

 

This would be a fun brawl if it were to happen. Not really sure who I'd pick at this point but I'd like to see it.

I could be wrong but Angulo is with Haymon and Margarito still with Top Rank so that probably makes this fight a longshot to happen anyways.

Margarito said that he has been holding back saying anything about their beef in public but aired out Erik Morales for always putting him down over the years.
