Antonio Margarito vs Amir Khan at 147

    The predictions of some *******s on Pacqiuao-Margarito saying that Pac will:

    -Hit and Move
    -Too quick hands for slow Margarito
    -Too quick footspeed for slow Margarito
    -Margarito without plaster has little power

    These are things which Khan can do aswell, only problem would be the chin, and a difference between southpaw and orthadox.

    -Also adding the factor of Freddie Roach, (seen Margo last 2 fights)
    -Khan is taller than Pacqiuao
    -Khan has a better reach than Pac aswell
    -Khan has almost as good of workrate as any top boxer.
    -One of the best jabs around today

    So do those people also think Margarito would be outboxed by Khan?

    In that case do those people also think Andre Berto can outbox Margarito?

    Why on earth would you match a big lightweight with a small middleweight in the first place?

    Anyway to your question....

    Margarito could easily be outboxed by Khan.

    Andre Berto is a **** boxer so no, I don't think Berto can outbox Margo.

    Khan would get wrecked from what I've seen. Now, I know Jerome will argue with me because that's his favorite fighter, but no, Khan loses this one. Sorry Jerome. I know he's your boy and everything.

    Haven't see anything from Khan that suggests he could deal with the pressure and strength of Margarito.

    He doesn't have the power to dishearten a guy like Margarito...Margarito would just walk him onto the ropes and break him. The main reason being experience...which is also one of the reasons Pacquiao beats Margarito, plus the fact that Pacquiao is on a different level to Margarito.

    Size is far from everything as proven time and time again. What concerns me is how Khan would cope with pressure he's never been put under, and on top of it all his chin is still very much in question, although I think people are crediting him with far too harsh criticism. Sure, he's not faced punchers since his faithful night with Breidis, but overall I think people are in for a surprise when it comes to the Maidana fight, he'll get tagged and he won't go to sleep as people expect.

    In two years time, I'll gladly bump this thread as I am sure Khan is a much more talented boxer than Margarito is, and he has the intelligence to fullfil his potential.

    Both on totally different levels

    Margo has been in with world class operators
    Khan talks like he has

    Tony would be too big/strong and experienced for Khan.Mid round KO

    Khan would get KO'd. He doesn't have the power to really hurt Margo and Margo's pressure would eventually get to him. Once Margo starts landing on him he would take him out.

    2 years ago he was alright, but now? he aint a top 15 of any division.

    Margo beats Khan up...****ing Khan couldnt take out a faded out of his prime weight Barrera, let alone granite chin Margo. Margo's pressure will overwhelm Khan.
