Do you mean if Margo was big enough to fight at 168?

What about Timothy Bradley vs Hopkins at 170?

Margarito has weighed more on fight night than Froch, who is usually in the ring at 167lbs. Margarito weighed 170lbs for the Clottey fight, I think, and he was definitely 165lbs against Cotto in the rematch.

If Froch wanted to, he could make middleweight. Maybe even 154.

Margarito hydrates back to 168, probably even walks around heavier.

The truth is, Carl Froch could not be at 160/154lbs, because he can't go down that far. It is true that he's not one to rehydrate, and thats part of the reason he's got an iron cast chin.

Froch usually looks shredded at weigh-ins. To even contemplate him losing an additional 8-14lbs is ludicrous. As for this thread...here's a sexy lady to compensate:

Yeah, that's true. I think he could quite easily lose 8lbs of water weight and make 160lbs but, as you say, it'd affect his chin. The success of Froch, Pacquiao, Martinez, Mayweather, Hopkins etc., shows that size isn't all important and being strong at the weight is better than sheer size.
