No it wouldn't . Margo has never looked good against guys bigger then him. His style of eating punches against bigger stronger punchers just does not work above 154.

 

And this is Margarito at 165lbs, at the very least. More likely 170+.

The weight Froch would lose to make 160 is not fat, it's water weight. Margarito routinely cut 15lbs of water weight and theres no reason to suggest Froch couldn't do the same. Maybe he could, maybe he couldn't, I don't know. It's not impossible.

 

I hope the TS is a small child or something. That way we could at least partially excuse this stupid ass thread. Margarito would STREAM ROLL that fake Froch! LOL! Just kidding. The same way Margarito loses the weight when he has the same body fat Froch does. Water. Froch is fully hydrated there and has probably had a meal in the morning. If he starved himself, didn't drink and was sat in a sauna, he could lose plenty of water weight.

Chavez weighed in at 158 last night and he'll be around 180 tonight, just like against he was against Andy Lee. That additional 22lbs is almost all water which can be lost and gained very quickly.

 

Froch KO 4. Margarito would be a tiny SMW. Antonio walks around 170 at best. SMW's walk around at 190-195 for some.

 

Carl is bigger, has bigger shoulders, bigger chest, bigger arms, bigger legs. He is a much bigger man that walks around much heavier than Tony. Froch walks around about 185 when he isn't training. This is a horrible fantasy match up.

 

Froch walks around at 175, a bit less than Margarito who is around 180-185.

 

I dissagree. Margarito does not look like he walks around at 180 at all and especially not 185.

Froch has much bigger shoulders and a much bigger chest. His legs are also much bigger and he has more muscle mass.

Tony's chest is 40 inches while Carl has a 45 inch chest.

Carl has a 21 inch thigh and Margarito has a an 18 inch thigh.

There are weight classes for a reason. Not to mention that Carl would not just be bigger, faster, stronger, etc etc...he would also have the better boxing skills and he is more versatile than Margarito (everyone is more versatile than Margarito aside from Marcos Maidana).

 

Froch beats the **** out of Margo. While Froch is way overrated on this site Margo was never good. The guy was a shitty boxer that cheated his way to the top
