Antonio Margarito vs Felix Trinidad at 147

Trinidad is a guy who wrecks chins. Just look at his record, he knocked out guys who never been knocked out before and ruined them. And Margarito is just too open to be hit.

 

Is it B.S., cornholio? DLH survived because Tito never touched DLH except once during a round, and then he also hit him after the bell. Those were pretty much the only times Tito hit DLH. After that, DLH pretty much ran and never let Tito connect, fool. Even Stevie Wonder saw that one.

Margarito has a solid chin, but I will tell you that Trinidad hits much harder than Kermit Cintron, who didn't even get his best leverage in his shots in two fights with Margarito. Trinidad had excellent timing, especially when someone is coming forward at him, Margarito is right there for Trinidad to rip with his most powerful left hooks and I assure you that he'd ****ing drop after a few of them.

Do you idiots not remember Clottey stunning Margarito with quick hooks followed by an uppercut?

Do you think that Trinidad wouldn't NAIL HIM just as fast with his legendary power and put him away?

This is Felix ****ing Trinidad we are talking about here, the Welterweight version at that and in the same ring with Antonio Margarito, the sloppiest top ranked fighter in an already heavily overrated Welterweight division, whom has already shown excessive vulnerabilities to 5x lesser opponents than Trinidad.

Competitive? **** off you ****ing imbeciles.

A prime Mosely, DLH, Quartey, Forrest and the rest of the former elite Welterweight crew would easily dispose of Margarito in 5 or less just like Cotto is going to do when they meet, it's a shame that then and only then will you see how little you know about this sport and the type of disrespect you put towards great fighters by legitimately believing that utter overrated hype jobs belong in the same ring with proven legendary ATG's, especially ones that are at every advantage possible intangible wise, stylistically and other.

So because Margo can not get KOed by Cintron, that means he can take the more accurate, precisely delivered and harder KO shots from a 5x as skilled fighter in Trinidad for 12 rounds when he's tailor made for Trinidad to eat alive.

As an all around fighter, Margarito is lesser than Mayorga. Mayorga had more speed, a better chin(sorry, don't see Clottey and Williams ever stunning Mayorga)and better timing with his awkward shots, as well as one punch KO power.

We saw how Trinidad handled Mayorga.

Give Margo 3 rounds max, a TKO 1 is not out of the question. He'd walk straight into one of those left hooks and drop.

 

And the funny thing is that it's not even iron, he's been hurt before by lesser punchers than Cintron, they just happened to accurately land flush on him. He has a good chin, nothing like some of the guys Tito wrecked.

This is so ridiculous I don't even know what to think.

Stylistically it's as bad as Frazier vs Foreman with Tito being Foreman and Margo being Frazier, only this would be more like Foreman vs. a Frazier-esque journeyman instead of Frazier himself.

haha dude I'm glad I wasn't the only one totally frightened by what I was seeing on this thread. Trinidad would have gotten a hard on just thinking about the great stylistic mismatch Margarito would be for him. It would have been one of Trinidad's very best beat downs that he had ever inflicted on an opponent. These noobs don't know the difference between a hard puncher in Cintron and an ATG puncher in Trinidad, its not even close. BTW I'm actually starting to think that the people voting for Margarito are Trolls. Don't worry, Cotto is going to surgically annihilate this guy so bad that he is going to look like the elephant man at the end of the fight.

Man, I don't even know what to say to that kind of logic. Sure, Tito can't deal with a top elite level technical boxer very well, but he eats pressure fighters like they are nothing, even TOP ELITE pressure fighters and that wouldn't apply to Margarito.

You don't go from nearly getting schooled by Clottey, to making a fight even remotely interesting against Felix Trinidad and I have cited a prime example from the Clottey fight where he was stunned!!!!
