KO 2? atsch What an idiot.... Analyzing a fight involves more then picking and choosing certain instances which fit your post, which seems to be how you do it. Yeah, it LOOKS good, but not much substance. You've REALLY said nothing to back a KO 2 post. *YAWN*
I have said plenty in favour of a KO 2 post, your limited boxing knowledge continue's to come across. I cited the Clottey fight and how Clottey stylistically likes a guy to come at him, which is Margarito and how he ripped Margarito with fast hooks and well timed shots, even stunning him for the first 4 rounds and I think it's unanimous that Tito is better at the said above than Clottey. I cited how Margarito starts slow, is 1 dimensional in a style that plays right into Tito's and is at a speed disadvantage also, completely open to Tito's best weapon, his left hook, which would land repeatedly on Margarito. I also gave examples of when Margarito has not shown an iron chin, as did others, against less than murderous punchers and explained that Cintron's best KO punches come from fully extended shots, which Margarito smothered and didn't recieve to the full extent. Then I gave an example of how Cintron is not on the punching level as Tito, he's not as accurate, nor as powerful and doesn't have near that type of timing. Tito easily disposed of guys on a higher calibre of Margarito, who could not defeat Daniel Santos and Paul Williams level fighters, even showing much vulnerability to Joshua Clottey. Lastly, Margarito's proven sloppy, bad balance and no defence. Tito nailed people with short hooks, timed right hands and excellent body shots and Margarito in every fight is open to being hit by moderate to good level fighters, much less proven elite fighters. So Margarito coming forward at Tito, trying to smother him, having shown that he has a very good chin, but not an iron one needed for him to last to the mid rounds due to his lack of top class skill as a pressure fighter and getting nailed with Tito's best timed shots and lacking the sharpness of offense to really land anything substantial to curve Tito's onslaught would get him KOed quickly. I understand that you're a Margarito nuthugger, but this fight is a complete mismatch and anybody with marginal boxing knowledge knows that.
Margarito nuthugger...yet I pick Tito to win by possible TKO? Nice try. That doesn't work with me since I am much more realistic about his chances then you are with your hero. This is just more of the bull**** you post. You showed when he did not have an iron chin? Sure you did. You Clottey means NOTHING to Margarito - Tito. If you were half as smart as you think you are, you'd know that. Completely DIFFERENT styles. Nice job bringing him up. Same with Williams and Santos..who BTW were Southpaws. Tito's a left and fights NOTHING like them either. You're pretty easy. Hey genius....Tito isn't exactly a fast starter. Maybe you should WATCH some of his actual fight (I don't mean youtube). Tito wasn't exactly known for his defense either. He's been dropped PLENTY of times, and often early. Again, if you watched hius fights, you'd know that. Maybe it's time to go back to youtube and boxrec!
Mamadou Thiam came after Tito and tried to smother him ... It turned out to be one of the most frightening beatings i've seen with Thiam's eye swollen like a softball.....
Sure, but you make it out like it'll be a good fight when it's as bad a mismatch as they come, to make Margarito look better. Obviously you couldn't pick Margarito NOT to get TKO'd..... Do you think a guy with an iron chin would get stunned by Santos, Clottey and Paul Williams? Those are fine examples not in the favour of the theory of Margarito's iron chin. Iron chins historically can take top level murderous punchers well. It means plenty, because both excell against guys that come straight at them because both prefer to time power shots from this position. Yes, but the styles have a common feature, which works against the likes of Margarito and it's irrelevant because it was an example about the difference in class between them. Anytime a fighter is pitted against a divisions highlight fighter of a generation, an elite and ATG fighter and struggles with B- level fighters needs to be brought up, different styles and all. I made the point because he LOST to those level of fighters due to his limitations, which would be just as evident against a vastly superior fighter in Trinidad. I've seen plenty, he isn't a fast starter, but he'd be landing his best work on Margarito as soon as Margarito came forward at time, if Margarito tried to actually box then he'd still be open to all of Tito's best work. Tito has much quicker hands than Margarito and legendary accuracy, what is ridiculous about predicting him to start tattooing an EASY target early? Did I ever say Tito had a good defence? What does it have to do with his signature offense vs. Margarito's lack of defence and style? Nothing. You know so little Lance but are so quick to criticise and make things personal, grow up.
I guess I'll go youtube some fights like you and pretend to be an expert on them. It's almost a waste of time dealing with you. You're too much like Widdow and Radar. Think you know WAAY too much then you show. But they actually showd more knowldge they you ever could. BTW, the reason I brought up Tito's chin is because you're....what would you call it...analysis I guess...was completely one sided. People who give only a one sided break down do so because they don't know any better. Which you don't. Look at some of that you ask:" Do you think a guy with an iron chin would get stunned by Santos, Clottey and Paul Williams" I guess it doesn't matter that Santos came in right about 170 against Margarito? Ooh...Clottey and Williams stunned Margaito. BIG ****IN WHUP. atsch You deal too much in absolutes to be taken serious.
I believe Tito would get him out of there by the 5th or 6th. Cintron has power, but Tito has power and speed. If by chance Margarito dropped Tito, he better run out of the ring. Tito seemed to turn into the incredible hulk after being dropped by his past opponensts. It was unbelievable. Margorito is just a good fighter. He fought a robot that had no defense in Cintron. You can't knock out everyone. Tito would find other ways to get you out of there.
I just wanted to comment on the iron chin. It is a funny thing, I've seen and fought guys that have iron chins, but for some reason you hit them just right on the temple or the side of their head and timber. Besides power, you need speed. Tito had both which spelled doom for many of his opponents. Tito had better timing also.
An average puncher like Margarito who doesn't have a jab and is the type of fighter that will take a punch or two or three to land 1 of his own would get... beat the hell down senseless by Tito Trinidad..Some of you guys sound like you've never seen Tito in his prime. If you think Margarito can even come close to giving Tito a dangerous fight think again, maybe you should buy Tito's career on DVD watch every fight then come back and say your sorry for being so incredibly confused.
Good lord. Margarito DESTROYS the shell of Trinidad, probably sometime in the middle rounds, maybe earlier.
