    Margarito was caught attempting.
Floyd did, and admitted to doing so by pleading guilty.

You guys do know this is a boxing website and not TMZ right? So we as boxing fans should be more upset at the bad things that happen in 'boxing' and not celebrities personal lives?!

difference is, MARGARITO WASN'T CAUGHT DOING ANYTHING...his trainer was, got fired, and still took full responsibility......mayweather straight out beat her ass, and threatened his own kids.....

well those of us involved in the sport with our own personal lives tend to take it more personal....i've trained kids before, and the best thing you can ask outta people like floyd is to be great role models....

They are all disgraceful in the same way Floyd is. Hopefully they are all done beating women (half of them are deceased) and have changed their ways and this why nobody brings the subject up (except you to defend your hero). I'm sure Floyd will change too someday. Until that day comes, he is a disgraceful person.

You think it's pure comedy what Floyd did? :huh

Beating up women is generally frowned upon in the entire world, but I guess at ESB, it's OK if Floyd does it?

I'm not starting this again with you Lance. You obviously have a mental block when it comes to this subject.

Well if you haven't figured it out, things that happen in people's pesonal lives affect other things in their lives, like say their careers. There's no excuse for hitting your girlfriend (other than maybe self defense) and especially in front of your children. Now a potential megafight has been delayed. This all could have been avoided. But some Floyd fans are even defending Floyd by saying your woman won't respect you unless you beat her once in a while to show you really care.

Guess it comes down to personal beliefs then.. We all know Floyd is everything but the perfect role model... He's not trying to be one... So kids should be guided to look at others as role models by the adults around them and not to look up to celebrities, especially their personal lives.. As they are hardly ever real life down to earth people in the media which is the ONLY time we get to see them..

But when we're talking about training kids and boxing, an attempted loading of gloves is far more disgraceful in my opinion... You're not only looking like a shitty person in your personal life for attempting to endanger another's by constantly beating their face with loaded gloves, you're doing it in the profession at the top level where everyone involved in the sport is watching. Completely different situations in my opinion and I can't see how anyone involved in boxing would believe attempted cheating in the ring is worse than a domestic dispute in someone's house.

So beating up your girlfriend is acceptable? Is that what you are implying?

It does effect his career, but who was he fighting on May 5th? Arum already said Pac's cut wouldn't heal so he's NOT delaying a potential megafight, I knew you Pac fans would come out the wood work trying to blame Floyd for the fight not happening now. Arum said Pac's cut wouldn't heal, that's why the fight wasn't happening. :rofl

I didn't say it was an excuse for hitting her, I'm simply saying to BOXING fans an attempted cheat in the ring is worse than a domestic dispute at home. All the rest of that **** you wrote has nothing to do with me or my post you quoted. :thumbsup

You are the one with a mental block. You are the one who thnks Floyd could not get out of a bogus charge with NO EVIDENCE and TWO HIGH PROFILE Vegas laywers on his side. How do you explain that?
