..according to Steve Kim from Maxboxing. This is a stay busy fight for Marg, while a rematch with Williams is being discussed for early next year. Also serves as a showcase for Margarito in case he fights the winner of Cotto-Mosley instead.

No problem with this, as long as he fights again afterwards.

Good match. I am wondering if Cintron is going to go after Margarito to avenge his loss?

Well since early last year he was waiting for PBF to say yes to a fight with him and for his Clottery match last December he was injured so he had to wait until this last July to fight Williams, and I am pretty sure he has been enjoying that Million + he got from that fight.

I'm glad he is fighting again this year to stay busy at the very least.

Magarito should walk through Golden pretty easy, Golden has no business at welter. He just isnt big enough to hang there.
I hope he lands a few of those great left hooks he has before he goes down. Text book stuff, not devastating but so short and quick.

:rofl :rofl :rofl   Arum wont let the hype machine die...he resurrected mr margarita. I wonder if he is still in denial that he LOST. Or if he made his own championship "most feared welter..still" belt to wear.

I'm wondering too, with all the trash talk about him being the new "Hagler" in terms of "INTIMIDATION". Damn, so funny now.

:huh Are you that stupid, or just that big a Mayweather Nuthugger. If it wasn't for Arum, promoting his guy and trying to get him a fight against the so called best P4P fighter who was IN HIS OWN DIVISION, Floyd would have never gotten 8mill for Baldomir. At the end of the day, Arum and Margarito made Floyd look verty foolish turning down so much money. Probably more money then any fighter has turned down.:patsch

Anyway little boy, Margarito isn't finished despite how much you want him to be. So he lost, all fighters lose. He'll be back.:thumbsup
