unbelievable how some fighters get hyped so much. Margarito is a class B fighter at the very best. He's slow, methodical with his punches, horrible footwork, etc. There is nothing outstanding about him. Whoever compared him to Haglar is completely ignorant of boxing. Haglar would have destroyed Margarito.

 

dont think so man. Margarito has always been an extremly slow starter. Thats his style and he cannot get away from it. Williams will do the same thing again, except margarito will be more discouraged, and more beaten this time around. He has skills, he can hit hard, but anyone who can box will just beat him. Clottey showed the gameplan, williams perfected it.

Although I'd like to see Margarito in with some stiffer comp, I'm still happy he's on the card....which is pretty damn stacked.

Margarito fans just wanted to see floyd fight him for their pleasure, and when floyd made a smarter business decision all the Margo fans are upset by it. Get over it man, I woulda loved to see that bum get starched but the person he fought was the Linear champ at 147. People knew who he was just from the wins with Zab and Gatti. He got the same amount of money, plus more prolly from ppv. It was a smart move on floyds part, he took that fight and now look what space he is in. Top Dog in the sport. I mean from the PW fight, dont you see all the flaws Margarito has in his game, that Floyd who is a better boxer than PW would exploit.
