There's no doubt in my mind Hearns KO's Margo inside of 5. Do you think Tito stops him? I've been going back and forth w/ Aztek Warrior w/ this. He says no...he even thinks Margo beats Tito gott ask your opinion on this thanks

you guys are forgetting one of the main things in boxing, STYLES MAKE FIGHTS....
sure it's a good comparison, but we still have a strong arguement.....pavlik almost got ko'd by taylor, a man that whooped, but didnt phaze spinks, a man that was almost put to sleep by judah etc etc.....

imagine if taylor had never fought spinks...20 years from now we would be talking about how a prime taylor would decapitate spinks.....

Well, they have to both be subject to the same rules to have a fair fight. Either way I pick Hearns, but if they weighed in the same day, then a total slaughter by Hearns.

Roldan was an extremely strong middleweight. We're talking Margarito v. Hearns at Welterweight I thought.

Yes, it's true that you can never be sure, but Hearns is far more dominant at Welter than Taylor ever was a middleweight. Hearns is one of the greatest Welterweights of all time, and could beat anyone not named Sugar Ray.

Hearns was like some kind of alien warrior at Welterweight. He was beating SRL and would have won at the 12 round distance. He also really won their rematch, albeit not at Welterweight and with both somewhat past their prime.

He was a great combination of boxing skill and pulverzing power at Welterweight.

Margarito gets hit with everything in the book damn near every time he fights. His handspeed is nothing to write home about.

No, I'm definitely not forgetting that "styles make fights". It is exactly Margarito's style that sees him eat Tommy's bombs for the duration of the fighter, however long it lasts.

I would go with Hearns as Margo is so easy to hit and he wouldn't have his size advantage like he often has. Although his style is similar to how Hagler beat Hearns so it might be possible although that was at 160. Also at the 12 round limit I don't see Hearns having any problems.
