have you seen pics of the supposed to be plaster? those weighed 20 lbs each right?:rofl now, have you seen cotto's face after the pac fight? i rest my case.hi:
pac was kod a second before the fight ended, in a fight he was winning. plenty of cases where a fighter turned the fight around with a punch or 2. im not saying margo may able to win but i can see him hurting cotto in that last round. but then again, he might be, who knows. it was virtually the same margo, only slower and rusty and with a broken eye socket.:good
You guys are so full of sh1t. An article on the subject, back when it happened...... http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/200...to.suspension/ An excerpt. from an article....... The options available to the California State Athletic Commission ranged from taking no action against Margarito and Capetillo to a fine, suspension, or revocation of their respective licenses (the maximum penalty under law). In the event of revocation, either man would be free to reapply after one year with no guarantee of reinstatement. An irrevocable permanent ban was not an available option. At the close of the February 10, 2009, hearing, the commission voted to revoke each man’s license. It made no finding that Margarito had knowledge of the inserts, but held him responsible for Capetillo’s actions. In so doing, it relied on Boxing Rule 390 of the California Code of Regulations, which states, “Any licensee who conducts himself or herself at any time or place in a manner which is deemed by the commission to reflect discredit to boxing may have his or her license revoked, or may be fined, suspended, or otherwise disciplined in such manner as the commission may direct.” In making its determination, the CSAC imposed a doctrine of “strict liability” upon Margarito. That’s similar to the position that most commissions take when a fighter tests positive for an illegal performance enhancing drug. A fighter, the theory goes, is a professional athlete. He’s responsible for his body and his equipment. If someone who works for him puts something illegal into his body or on his hands, the fighter should be held ultimately responsible. or Quotes regarding the case from the inspectors......... License inspector Mike Bray was called to testify and to reiterate what was found on the hand wraps–which he said looked “moist and dirty looking. ....... “I immediately retrieved it. I believe it was an illegal pad–it needed to be confiscated. I observed what appeared to be a bloodstain. It was not new and their was a white substance smeared across the knuckles. It was hard to the touch–like Plaster of Paris.”- Mike Bray, License Inspector CSAC inspector David Pereda, who was in the room, later testified, “Naazim opened the gauze and pulled something out of it. He showed us what appeared to be an old gauze which had been used before and hardened from perhaps being sweaty and wet many times.” Inspector Guevara testified, “It [the knuckle pad] was a clean new bandage. But within it, in the inner layers of it, was another bandage wrap. It was not as white as a new bandage wrap would be. It was used and it looked almost like it was sweat soaked and that’s what caused it to have the discoloration. It was harder in certain areas than it should be for pure gauze. It was definitely firm and hard. I believe there was a little bit of, it looked like old blood, on it.” “No doubt then, no doubt now. The wraps I found had the knuckle pad altered in some form. They were hard. I didn’t think twice when I pulled them out as illegal.” - Dean Lohuis, Chief Inspector There are articles all over. The issue has been done to death. At this point, you're just believing what you want to believe. But the truth is out there if you only look for it.
Yes, that's exactly right, Margarat actually had to learn hit once the plaster was removed. I'm not moving forward with these ******s anymore unless they can give me a logical explanation on how one man does never before seen things time and again before he was caught. Like crush an orbital with head gear on, make eyes and ears bleed, explode ears etc. and then after being caught not only do nothing near, but lose all fights he would've previously been favored in.
yeah, cuz running scared from a guy twice your size with loaded gloves is not the wise thing to do.
They shamelessly defend the ******* because they're suffering from battered wives syndrome. They keep returning for more and more!!! It's beyond being a true fan...they're in Denial !!!
Margarita got his ass kicked in that last round!!! Garcia was trying to make his case to the Dr. that was his best round so he wouldn't stop it. However, Margie still got his ass kicked in the las round of 2nd fight. :rofl Unbelieveable people out there!!!!
Why dont you just go and suck Margarito off? Seeing as he needs a new job, he can go into g*y porn with you. Margarito would NEVER have beat Cotto without wraps, The difference between the Paciqauo fight is, Pacqiauo punished Cotto pretty much from the get go, whereas Margarito, Cotto took him to school in the first fight until the wraps started kicking in. and there was no way he was turning the second fight around with 3 minutes to go, Cotto may have been tired but he had the perfect gameplan and enough discipline to see it through. What was Margarito going to do in that last round? fight more aggressively?? come out faster? come out stronger? he sure as hell aint grinding Cotto down in one round, espeically seeing as he did ZILCH in the previous 10
Margarat was about to go out, doctor's stop/ref's stop fights for the victim, that was Margarat. They could see his shoulder's slumping in cower with every hit just like I could, very similar to how he looked when Shane was rocking him. They knew he had nothing left and decided to stop it and not take the chance on a lawsuit.
A substance that was determined to be plaster like substance falls out in front of people and boxing_master thinks he is innocent. Yea these are the kind of people who think pac was not roiding also. Lol that says much.
I wonder how people explain the dude hitting hard in sparring according to sparring partners. I suppose he was wearing illegal wraps when he walked down martinez too. Marg should have retired after the pacquiao fight, hell his corner should have stopped the fight but left him with permanent damage. Marg was always a beast at WW but his prime would be short as with any other fighter in history with his fighting style.
