Margo is too slow to be effective at attacking the shoulder roll. He hes no jab for starters he throws wide telegraphed shots that PBF would see a coming from a mile away. He doesn't even throw a looping overhand right which is effective against the shoulder roll nor is he a southpaw who throws a laser straight left. Fighters with far better and more dynamic offenses have struggled to land on PBF frequently.

Secondly to the inexperienced novices all PBF's defense is shoulder roll but to the astute fan like myself there's much more to it. You have to realize most of this fight will be fought at PBFs range he's the master of dictating range people like you don't understand the significance this will play in this fight, this is chess not checkers.:deal PBF will not allow Margo to get into range enough for him to do anything, he won't land enough to score points and win rounds. This is where PBF with his superior speed and reflexes will get off first and get back out of range before Margo can respond. Margo will be reduced to following PBF around because he can't cut the ring off on someone with such a extreme advantage PBF has in footspeed and reflexes PBF can get in and out at will. Margo's workrate will fall off the map he will get frustrated because he can't do anything and will eat another flush straight right for his troubles.

It can't be anymore clear, if Margo had faster feet and faster handspeed he might present a real problem but he doesn't. Margo is tailormade for PBF and would get shut out and schooled period.

    :lol::rofl
Oscar is light years beyond Margo. Oscar has a jab and has handspeed not to mention PBF fought him at 154 a weight PBF has never looked good at. Horrible comparison.

Watch the ODLH, Mosley, Bradley I and II, Clottey, Rios, Algieri, and JMM III and IV fights... Pac isn't difficult to find, yet his face registered very little damage in those fights. Pac's defense is supremely underrated and his face was BUSTED UP the WORST against Margarito post 140.

Maidana wasn't supposed to be able to touch Floyd AT ALL.

You're criminally underrating Margarito because Floyd ducked him.

Yeah , but people talking like Floyd was like Ali on the back foot. He was never like that. He could be backed up and often never moved at all.

Margo wasn't the plodder people are making him out to be either. You had to be on your bike non stop to keep the range against him.

Pacam's Southie , volume attack was all wrong for him. Floyd matches up slightly better.

I'd pick Mayweather to win , but it wouldn't be no easy shut out. Margo was dangerous.

This has nothing to do with what I posted.

    PBF didn't duck him, that's a myth.

Arum said while Mayweather would have taken the $8 million to fight Margarito, he asked for a $10 million guarantee to fight opponents such as Miguel Cotto and Ricky Hatton, when Arum was only willing to guarantee $7 million.

Arum said Mayweather also asked for $20 million to fight De La Hoya, a fight Arum said he wasn't interested in participating in.

"That's not in the cards," Arum said. "He wants $20 million for the De La Hoya fight? It's not there. Sometimes, my man, you gotta know when to hold 'em and when to fold 'em. We'll talk about things down the road."

You criminally overrate him because PBF didn't fight him if he did he would be another Baldo and you wouldn't give him any credit for beating him.

He was dangerous to people who had stamina issues and couldn't move PBF could do both and neutralize him. Educated pressure presents problems not uneducated like Margo brings remember that.:deal

Lastly what is all this talk about PBF couldn't move and fight off his back foot? Have you seen a prime PBF?

I do not think Floyd expected Chino to be that tough. With Margarito he knew what to expect and would have out boxed him easily

Floyd the master technician simply couldn't figure out Margaritos complex style.

Mario was always too slow to beat Floyd.

Sonic had a much better chance, at least in his prime.
