Marg had poor footwork and was slow. He wore people down, in part, due to his superior stamina. Floyd doesn't get tired and he could move non-stop for 12 rounds (as he was only too happy to prove).

He would box circles around Margarito all night and win so easily that people would be on here the next day saying they always knew that Marg didn't have the style to beat Floyd.
