Hes right though. JLC was a more skilled fighter than Margarito. That doesn't change the fact that I think Margarito woulda whooped Mayweather. Styles make fights and what not.

I clearly alluded to that in my post.

Maidana is not as skilled as Castillo but he still gave Floyd more than he can handle. You can't out skill May Flower. This has been proven time and time again. You have to smack him around get in his face and make it uncomfortable.Which is something Castillo could never do.Something Baldo could never do. Oscar sort of did but Oscar was past his prime.THIS IS WHAT MARGO DOES BEST BTW! Y'all thought Maidana was rough. Watch what Margo would of done to May FLOWER.

    This is too easy, NEXT!!

I said slightly, the other guy said "light years away" and you said "way better".
We all agreed Castillo was the more skilled fighter so Let's not turn this into
a 10 page battle of semantics.

Point is, and you seem to agree, Margarito would have in the least, given FLoyd
    and Castillo fits.

Ok Mopar You asked for it......

1..... The lab tested those pads microscopically & indeed discovered TRACE ELEMENTS of sulpher & calcium. Do you know what Trace elements means? Very very minute amounts. Yes those elements are found in plasterbut they are also found in HUMAN SWEAT. In the final verdict on the labs findings the pads were deemed HARMLESS!!!!!!

2.....Only the CALIFORNIA Commission rep ever claimed the pads were hard ( Blatant Lie) How come they weren't hard when the lab tested them?? Where were the BLOCKS that POS Richardson claimed were in there??

3.... Tony Margarito was suspended immediately after the fight BEFORE any tests were done on the pads. He was suspended because the CSAC were totally embarrassed  that their own inspector had passed and signed off on the wraps If there was impropriety why didn't he see it??

4 When Tony applied for his licence to be restored I was present saw what happened. One CSAC rep voted Tony's licence be restored the others voted against. Capetillo admitted it was his fault his mistake that a USED pad & not a new one was inserted Tony was unaware of any of this
The coup de gras really came when Tony's rep asked the CSAC board if they could examine the so called suspect pads as they had been refused access before. The CSAC board looked at each other totally embarrassed & one stuttered. " Err Err we cannot oblige you because the pads have been MISLAID!!! We do not have them any more.:patsch:patsch
How convenient ???? Do they really expect anyone to believe that they could mislay the only evidence they claimed to have to deny a mans right to ply his trade?????:yikes

This whole pantomime was initiated by Nazim Richardson to get into Tony's head & to cause enough of a disruption that Shane Mosely could slip through undetected juiced to the gills. The CSAC backed him & it got out of control
The only cheaters in this affair were Richardson, The CSAC & Shane Mosely a self confessed Ped's abuser

Not lets see you offer facts to refute anything I posted:fire:fire

PBF has nothing to do with it. JLC was arguably the best LW of his era.:deal Margo isn't the best of anything besides loading his gloves. He isn't even worth mentioning when considering the best WWs of this era.

What weight are we talking about? With that said JLC was a big LW and gained a lot after the weigh in. He might actually be able to beat Margo especially if he kept the fight on the inside and fought in a phone booth for a full 12 rounds. It's not like Margo was some killer puncher without his wraps and Margo was no where the inside fighter as JLC was.

This post is pretty thorough. If he indeed didn't cheat, its sad that he was slated the way he was.

What part of PBF was 37 when he fought Maidana don't you understand? Do you actually think a 31 year old PBF would struggle as much with Maidana? PBF is past his prime way out weighed by damn near 20 pounds and got cut for the first time in his career. A 31 year old PBF would shut Maidana out possibly stopping him. A 31 year old PBF would be facing Margo not a 37 year old. If you're going to match up a prime Margo with PBF then PBF has to be prime to.

Margo is one of the most overrated fighters of this era had 6 loses before anyone even knew his name. A proven cheat who got beat at his own game by a green Williams and KTFO by his daddy Mosley and after he was exposed never won a fight of note again.

PBF tools Margo and makes him look like the limited plodder we already know he is. H's too slow and PBF is too good, too complete. Offense sells tickets but defense wins championships when will you f ucks realize this?:deal 46-0 P4P #1 undefeated in 3 different decades and the face of the sport. Deal with it haters.:hi:

    Good post.

The fact that the pads had to be microscopically tested was always an indication that the commission really had nothing.:deal

Learn a little about a guy before attempting to diss him
Like Manny Paquaio Tony Margarito was fighting pro at FIFTEEN years old he had to fight there was nothing else. He had no manager no back up team. He was fighting grown men experienced fighters while just a kid. They didn't care they just slung him in there. That's where his losses came from.
I first met him in Ft Worth Tx he was fighting the perennial Buck Smith. He destroyed Buck & I knew then he was going to be something special.
It seemed impossible to hurt him. I've been behind him ever since
