You are incorrect. At that time no one really knew who Margarito was his only real win to date had been Kermit Cintron. He was the WBO champ while Baldomir was the recognized lineal champ. He was offered even money for both. He made the right choice. And on a side note. Mayweather would have made Margarito look like an amateur.

I go by Margarito being banned for a year and his trainer being permanently banned. If you can prove the California boxing commission wrong please do so.

 

Margarito wouldve done to floyd what he did to Sergio. He wouldve worn him down and stopped him. No margarito wasnt the most skilled guy but he was an absolute tank at 147. Floyd would not have the power to back up margarito and wouldve gotten pummeled late in the fight and stopped. no doubt about it.
