What people fail to understand here is that Clottey and Mayweather are not of the same build.

Clottey is a very strong welterweight who is very energetic in the first 4-5 rounds. Yes he does fade after about 6 rounds, but in those first 4 or so he is usually brilliant. Much like Zab Judah.

Mayweather is for all general purposes, a one and done fighter. He doesn't stand his ground like Clottey, he picks and moves. And he does this against guys much smaller and much older than Margarito. Easy work indeed.

Essentially Margarito has NOTHING to fear from Floyd's offense. That would be huge in this fight. And if people don't think Margarito can catch a man running they need to watch more of his fights. He lands those overhand rights on runners pretty regularly. :smoke

what part of "the best refuse to fight him" is so hard to understand.

If you are not disgusted by the fact that AM has earned but has not gotten his shot at the top - then you are not a true boxing fan at all.

Thats becuase Floyd only offered that fight the way any coward would it was two weeks prior, you mean to tell me that Tony should have dropped everything then and there for that fight?
you know nothing about boxing if you say so, this wouldnt allow Tony the time to find the proper sparing partners to prepair him for a runner like Floyd.
and if you new BOXING you would know that Floyds offer was about as cowardly as it can get. he only offered that fight so his idiotic fans such as yourself could use that as Fuel to justify his heartless behavior.

Why should I it's his own fault. He should ditch the worthless WBO strap and fire Arum and sign with King or Goldenboy and he would get the big fights.

Ok, well now that PBF seems to be changing his similar tune that he once sung about Hatton, then he should have no problem going after Tony next, right??

Again, OPINIONS only turn to facts in the RING. Proof beats troof every time:good

Sure he would and had he dumped that belt you would all be calling him a coward for avoiding Williams, its a catch 22 with Margarito, its okay for Floyd to vacate not Tony. Mexicans are held to a higher standard in this sport.

BO straps are no more worthless than the rest in the sad state of boxing affairs that exists these day's.

Floyd should go on a 4 or 5 fight, STOP THE BS CAMPAIGN.

You're exactly right he should have dropped everything. If you have the chance to fight the P4P #1 fighter in the sport or a bum like Shotgun Gomez you do everything in your power to make it happen. What style Tony was preparing for is irrelevent it still wouldn't keep him from getting a boxing lesson from PBF.
And lastly Margo is a tool used by PBF haters to try and discredit him.

Zab Judah ring a bell. BTW a promotional act don't get you a win over Oscar and to be the P4P #1 boxer in the sport, that's earned not given.
