The fight between the Romainian Steel worker and the Janitor in my Avatar?

I'm going with the steel worker by either UD or TKO in the 10th.

Cotto doesn't move near as much or as well as Mayweather does. And Mayweather does not commit to his punches he just punches to land and get out of the way. A swarmer who throws even without having his feet set will make for an ugly and unpredictable fight.

You can move all you want but when a guy is not afraid of what you are hitting him with he will eventually find you. Providing of course that you don't turn your back on him and turn it into a marathon.

Funny guy. Look you can understand something basic here I'm sure. When a man is fighting off the backfoot he has no power. He has no power because he is getting no weight transfer in his shots. It's all just to land and get out of the way. That is what Mayweather circa 2008 does. He doesn't throw punches to hurt. If Cotto elects to move instead of standing his ground it will be the same. He'll be moving, doing little damage and hoping that Margarito doesn't catch him.

He knows how to get power on his punches. I don't disagree with that. But you have to realize that Cotto is not as fast as Mayweather when it comes to footwork. He's really not even that fast on his feet to begin with. If he were that fast on his feet he'd not be eating these uppercuts like he does.

Very shitty if you must compare him to Morales.

Give credit to Margarito for what he is: a big, tough, hard-punching WW with a high workrate and stamina.

His flaws, on the other side, are self-evident to those who are actually watching.

Lots of people ask: Can Cotto handle that many punches??? I think the question should be: Will Margarito be able to throw that many punches when Cotto is hitting back????

Or a better question is can Cotto hit back while trying to defend his chin and liver from 100 punches torpedoed at him per round?

Three punches landing on target is enough for margo to do serious damage.

In my opinion he can , only because Cotto bends down so low and if Margarito reaches down to try and hit cotto body he could leave himself open ..

I believe the only way cotto loses this fight if he stands and trades with margarito .. if he throws his combos and steps to the side and keep margarito turning off his feet , he can score a nice UD with out sustaining much or any damage ..

not really , I think margarito punching power has been hyped out of proportion EBS..

Margarito is not a one punch KO artist or even a explosive puncher , but what he is , is a strong guy with heavy hands thats like wear you down with body shots and pressure .. clotty proved that three punches wont kill ya but a continuing diet of his pressure and shots will wear down on you..

this is wear it get tricky for cotto who can sustain a intense attack from round 1 to 7 and then kind of coast on the damage he has done to you , ir he hasn't knocked you out already .. round 6 and 7 is margarito will start to come on , will cotto have enough in the tank to hold margartio off and will cotto have done enough damage in the early round to keep margartio from coming on strong in the later round.

margarito is no pushover, cotto will have his hands full thats for sure.. for one main reason .. cotto will not be able to bully margarito the way he has his other opponents due to margaritos size and power, this is going to be a damn good fight
