    - sweat will not cause sulfur to be in the wraps....sweat is water, urea, with traces of mostly calcium and potassium, with calcium being somewhere in the range of 15 ppm on average.
    - sulfur is not in gauze...which is composed of cotton
    - sulfur and calcium are irreplaceable components of plaster of paris, they are not different than calcium sulfate, which is just calcium, sulfur and oxygen.
    - athletic tape is made with cotton, acylate....acrylic acid, and an adehsive polymer, which is not containing sulfur.
    - the manufacturer saying and someone testing it on a bag showing it to be useless, doesn`t mean a trainer or fighter won`t try to use a plaster like substance anyway.
    - he was caught for breaking the rules, whether it helped him or not. whether he knew or not.

    Sulfur might not be in gauze, but sweat can sure get in there.

    Sulfur and calcium can come from fingernails, sweat, hand creams etc. Nobody is doubting the gauze was used gauze. Point being is that finding calcium and sulfur is not proof that there was plaster of paris, as those elements being present has been explained already.

    The athletic tape was mentioned because of the "sticky residue" Nazzim described, nobody said the tape had those compounds.

    And yeah, the plaster of paris experiment showing it doesn't work, does ****ing matter. It shows it was impossible to use, a brick like substance would shatter the hands even if you managed to have a brick in your gloves. Regardless, the PoP shattered instantly, filling Williams gloves up with chunks when he did the test, how did Margarito not have chunks falling out of his gloves?

    He wasn't caught breaking the rules, he was accused and punished unfairly. The DA REFUSED to allow an independent lab examination when the Margo camp requested it, immediately backed off, and never pressed any charges. Sounds to me like they knew he was innocent.
