Freddie Roach made a stink about Margarito pouring an illegal substance in his hot drink in the dressing room to deflect from the objection that Robert Garcia had of Pacquiao's handwraps.

In all my years of watching boxing, I've never seen handwraps with the high ridges at the knuckles that Pacquiao wore for Margarito.

I have since looked at Pacquiao's wraps when they've shown him wrapping pre-bout, and the ridges have not been there.

Those high ridges caused the fracture of Margarito's face around his eye.

A damn shame that in a fight where all eyes were on Margarito wrapping, Parkinson man Freddie Roach is'nt above taking advantage and outright load his own fighters wraps to gain an advantage.

Roach is scum, and there is'nt a shred of doubt of that in my mind.

Typical ******* fanboys who put Margo's eye as their avatar like the Nike Swoosh symbol. They were the king of mean-spirited and racist avatars. Most of those guys were never fans of the sport to begin with only Pac fans and aren't even around today.

On a serious note, handwraps will always be an issue. Because there doens`t seem to be a consistency about what is allowed, or not allowed. Some states either are more lenient, or look the other way... One set of rules, that is universally supervies in every sate or country, but that`s not gonna happen. It`s a very serious problem because fighters careers get messes up and eventually their quality of life. I`m not sure if we`ll ever see proper `policing` of the handwrap situation ...

 

Never knew that. I do know that No tape at all is to be allowed on the fighters bare skin,hands... It`s a good thing you are the true boxing guru and people can`t think for themselves and listen to you I guess you think you DO run this hot dog stand !!
