I saw his fight and was very impressed by him. He is definately talented and has a hell of punch. He sort of reminds me of a young Ortiz. I just hope Orozco actually has balls and a heart.
Funny you say that. He grew up with Victor Ortiz and Brandon Rios when they were all in KC. He comes from the same gym. (Now in San Diego) Mayweather wanted to use him for sparring when he was getting ready for Miguel Cotto. But Orozco wasn't available at the time. We plan on taking our time with him. But think he has a bright future. Will try and put him on ShoBox early next year.
I figured he might have known them since he mentioned being from Garden City in a youtube video. Seems like Victor and Brandon opened up the door to alot of talent from that City. There are many Garden City boys in Cali now.
