Antonio Tarver and Al Bernsteins' score cards for Hopkins-Pascal

Who cares if you're Canadian, Zimbabwean, American, polynesian. Does make a ****ing piece of difference. Anyone who is not willing to accept that a draw was fair/could see a draw based on how a fight is scored (effective agression, clean punches etc) cannot score a fight.

115-111 is the best you can score it for Hopkins (9 to 3 -2 for knockdowns) or if you're some kind of ****** then 117-111 is the best possible for Hopkins giving both knockdown rounds to Pascal but only at 10-9.

 

Why do you try to insult people that disagree with you by calling them ******s??? If you scored this fight for Pascal or even as a draw then I suggest you are more likely the ******. After the 3rd round Hopkins absolutely schooled Pasal , my card read 116-111 Hopkins.
Pascal knew he got his ass kicked look at his sullen face at the end.

Yes this is one more travesty one more robbery Bernard Hopkins has had to face. But as Bernard said " The people know who wonthe fight thats all that really matters"

give Hopkins the benefit of every doubt and you can score 116-110 for Hopkins.

 

Its not a case of disagreement because he doesn't give his scorecard.

 

C.J. your scorecard is also shameful and you must have some kind of Hopkins bias/you are unable to score a fight/you are unable to see punches.

 

My point was that Hopkins won his rounds more decisively and more of them than Pascal. Also, if you gave Pascal only a 10-9 in round 1 because of the illegal punch behind the head and a 10-9 in round 3 because despite the legit knockdown he was winning the round, and gave all the remaining rounds to Bernard then you could theoretically score 118-110 BHop. I didn't. I am just saying a case could be made for it.

Your wrong, Hopkins won 120-108. Pascal didn't land one punch and the kd in the third was a slip. Look at Hopkins face, he's basicly saying wtf is happenning, I'm on the canvas, Canadians cheat, I swear.

 

Honestly, I don't even know why people score 10-8 rounds when there's a knock down. Especially when its out of country. Cause you never know what they'll call a knockdown out there in the hinterlands. Really when ever an american fighter is fighting abraod we should score based on who lands the most punches. Thats the way they score it in amateur bouts. From now on nothing but amateur scoring when American's are abroad....oh no waitatsch scratch that you never know what kinda of comunist is going to be counting punches. Okay new rule any time an american fight is knocked down the round should be scored a 10-9, cause its probably a shady knockdown. And anytime an American is in a close round it should be given to the American...cause we all know it would otherwise be given to the other guy because of the crowd...crowds are whats wrong with boxing....and the yanks should be given a 4 point lead....yes a 4 point lead should be enough to overcome the obviousl bias of everyone in this foreign land.

See, its very simple if you score the fight THIS way, the WAY IT SHOULD be, because thats how we feel, and our feelings are important....Clearly there is no possible way to score the fight for Pascal. If you think otherwise you are clearly blind and biased.

 

the only way a can justify not giving a 10-8 round with a kd is if its a really one sided round. this was not the case
