Thanks, and I liked Temple of the dog, not so much soundgarden though, I was always more of an AIC guy!
Trinidad/Mayorga? when Roy kept emphasizing that if Tito just went to the body he'd get him outta there much quicker, Merchant says 'but he's never gone to the body Roy' or words to that effect, just moments later Tito throws one body shot...down goes Mayorga and Tito gets him outta there soon after.
Tarver is pretty sound and its still early days for him, you can see he's still not completely into his flow especially in the pre and post fight analysis when the camera closes on him, but that comes with experience. Someone who isn't as good on the Mic as i thought he'd be is Hopkins (admittedly on the very few occasions i've heard him) I would love to see Mike Tyson as a commentator, very articulate and brillient knowledge (two most important ingredients, the knowlegde and ability to deliver it)
Tyson is my All Time Favorite. He would be good, he does have brilliant knowledge, but articulate:huh
Totally agree, Tarver is doing great as an announcer and look forward to see more of him. About time there was a thread regarding this, good one.
Roy Jones was an excellent commentator, he should have stayed in the commentating game instead of fighting beyond his time. Lennox Lewis is okay, his problem is that he is a bit shy in front of the camera but the guy is a wealth of boxing knowledge. He needs to come out of his shell more and he will be good.
Tarvers smile and whole demeanour when commentating is so fake and rehearsed admitedly he comes across great but i have met him in real life and he swears between every word lol i have never heard so much profanity in my life!
Come to brooklyn profanity is a big part of the english language here. Someone give Kevin Kelley a ****in job already.
