    Luke, it's a common theme among us old guys. Mark my words, someday you'll probably be thinking the same thing.

    Besides, with the state of the division and the K brothers running through these 'contenders' like tissue paper, can you blame Tarver for wanting a piece of that too? I mean Christ, Briggs is next and J.C. Gomez might be in line for another big payday.

    I don't blame him a bit.

    Why not? It's not like there's much fun in boxing. I'll be rooting for him. Say what you will about Tarver but the guy is a pretty solid boxer. He'll stay behind that jab and fight a smart fight. I don't think Tarver would purposely chose an opponent he can't beat for his first fight at HW.
