Pffffff, calm the **** down, man. Danny Green is 38 years old himself and he was by no means considered to be on the level of a Jean Pascal. Tarver's win is in no way equal to that of Hopkins over Pascal. It was just one old man beating up on another in this instance.

The fight was in Switzerland and actually none of the judges was Russian.

They don't have to retire if they aren't getting knocked out and/or looking terrible. Holyfield looks terrible, RJJ is getting knocked out, Barrera isn't looking impressive. Old guys like Hopkins and Tarver can stay. But once they start looking terrible, they have to accept that they're done.

Isn't Danny Green like 40 years old too? Someone had to win.

Agreed. Plus it depends how they adapt to their wearing bodies. Most veteran fighters use their experience to avoid the big shots and take young fighters out of their gameplan. They avoid losing control and getting into all out wars where they risk getting hurt.

The older fighters who cannot make this change are the ones who end up seriously hurt.

I'm not hating but LHW is not very good at the moment, Hopkins is incredible though, but could anyone honestly imagine a fighter in their 40s beating Pac or PBF? Mosley looked great against Margarito but once he got in the ring with true elites his age showed.

When legends are getting kod or hurt consistently like Rj and Holy YES they need to retire. When they aint getting kod or stopped and winning at world level by all means they should proceed with layin down old school whuppins.

  12. Looking for better highlights, Tarver put on a great performance last night. Green was not thinking right trying to counterpunch Tarver.
