Haven't seen the fight, but Tarver is an underrated fighter due to most people's disdain for him. The guy can straight out box, has amateur pedigree, and beat numerous top 10 fighters before KOing Jones Jr. So yea....it was an easy win for Tarver huh?

Easy win. Woods did nothing and Tarver's still a ****.

Who's that in your avatar, Smazz?

And yeah, he is underrated. He did some unbelievable things as a amateur.

he's always been a decent fighter. a lot of hate for the guy stems from being the conqueror of rjj.

Woods won one round on my card. Woods didn't do anything special.

I agree Tarver is a very underated fighter on this forum, i got bashed for defending Hopkins wins over him being a good, solid win, but i think those peole may think twice now. Much props to Tarver though, even though im a RJJ fan, i like Tarver and his enthusiasm that he brings to the sport, i personally find his trash talking funny :D

Tarver looked **** against Hopkins and in his next two fights. Everyone thought he was shot, when in fact, he just had a stinker against Hopkins and struggled coming down in weight and was very unift after Balboa. Now, he is still badly faded, but I underrated him.

If he got himself into top shape again, I would pick him to beat Dawson, unless Dawson gave an Adamek level performance.

Another guy I tarnished as a "has been NAME" who proved me wrong, somewhat. Of course, Woods was AWFUL!:patsch

The fight I really want to see now is between Johnson and Tarver (the two winners from last night).

If Hopkins is still around after Calzaghe, it would be nice to see the winner against him.

Tarver is underrated and people refuse to give him respect because they hate his personality which happens a lot around here.

He just got underrated after his loss to Hopkins, only before that people laughed at Hopkins for even thinking about taking this fight..etc, this is how boxing is, one loss and you're overrated/underrated. Fact is, he's a very good fighter.

    Mascara?
I really don't know who to pick here man, it's really hard. Though my heart says Hopkins, my head says Calzaghe, quite in a similar situation when Tarver fought Hopkins though I picked Hopkins and bet some really good money on it. I don't know if I'll be able to do the same here especially when I know Calzaghe and how he fights, though we can both agree that Calzaghe never fought anyone in Hopkins' class but this is a 43 year old Hopkins we're talking about and we both saw how slow he was in his last fight and how he actually got tired late in the fight, can't help but think the same will happen here(in terms of stamina) maybe even earlier, considering the number of punches Calzaghe will land. I'm going to say Hopkins wins it by UD, though I'm not confident about it at all and will be prepared if Hopkins loses so I won't be shocked, especially if it's by TKO.
What about you, who are you picking?, eyelashes fan.

i think calzaghe is going to win, did so right from the beginning, i thought hopkins is going to be the toughest test for joe but jack presscot (yes jack presscot!) convinced me otherwise!
