Tarver tired as expected and not throwing enough, Dawson landed some nice shots and taking the round, nothing major though. Tarver lands a nice left in the last 20 seconds.

Tarver is in good shape but those right hooks to the body he's taking are no joke.

Dawson I don't think would trouble Joe C too much. Hopkins vs Dawson would be a good fight.

Round 9 starts off as more of a cat fight than a dog fight. My interest is kind of bouncing around as I'm watching a YT link of Tyson singing a Phil Collins song. Lots of infighting from what I've seen from the two. Dawson seems to land to the body at will and BLASTS Tarver with an inside uppercut. Tarver is holding up to some power punches.

7-2 for Dawson.

 

Dawson is just too inconsistent to trouble Calzaghe. Hopkins - Dawson would be very interesting.

 

A more impressive round that clearly goes to Dawson. He is letting his hands loose a little more, but give Tarver credit. He is still pretty tough to hit. Still, no doubt about that one.

Tarver needs to save energy and just put together a 30 second burst and hope thats enough, hes gassed.
