Tarver is so SLOW! This fight should be a blowout. Unless Dawson improves he won't be undefeated for a long time.

 

this is a much closer fight than people think

 

From what I can tell, Tarver is winning this fight by sophistication!

Dawson lands a six punch combination as the 11th round begins. Dawson comes out with a good jab and some fast handiwork to sort of frustrate Tarver.

Dawson is a good fighter who could be an ELITE fighter if he could keep his attention level up at all times. He's slick, fast handed, able to fight going frontwards backwards and what not and he's fundamentally sound. Dawson has a tremendous jab as well. He just has the attention span of a gnat. Meanwhile as I ramble about that, Dawson is taking this round with a pure jabathon. Tarver tries to fight back but he just can't do it for 12 rounds. Dawson is nowholding on and moving as we enter the final minute of the round. Dawson peppers Tarver wioth a combination as Tarver is almost to the point of wheezing. Another meaningless round in what amounts to a meaningless fight.

These stupid stagnant rest time for Dawson is one of the reasons why he isn't a top 10 p4p fight yet.. He needs to improve his conditioning
