Tarver throwing more punches this round too, Dawson jumping on him early but slows down again. Not sure if Dawson is tired or just lost, he can be confusing sometimes then all of a sudden jumps. Tarver lands more punches and throws more this round, though Dawson landed a good clean shot late but Tarver fires back.

Dawson isn't gassed he just does this every fight. He takes rounds off, gets bored, sleepwalks etc etc.

 

I think Dawson has the same mental problem as Jermaine Taylor. They're extremely skilled but just not the mentality to match the physical skills.

Not to start ****, but Calzaghe would **** this kid up. Dawson takes time off and lets himself get tee'd off on. Calzaghe aside from being confusing as hell fight would just be giving him tons of problems with the pace he sets. Dawson wouldnt know what the **** to do.

Taylor physically isn't in good enough shape, Dawson is, though its definitely a good point, they both like to take time off. Dawson honestly should have shut Tarver out, but he just doesn't have the mental discipline.

 

The Latin Grandpappy's-Camacho/Campas fight is better than this.

 

after Pascal beats Diaconu I can see Pascal vs Dawson being an interesting fight.
