Antonio Tarver Vs. Dwight Muhammed Quawi

I'm thinking that Dwight would get to Antonio late, stopping him after getting outboxed in the early part of the fight.

 

I see Qawi wearing Tarver down,Im not impressed with Tarver,and,whil Qawi got Saad at the end of his prime he had too much fire in his belly for Tarver imo.

I admit that Qawi was a beast from 1981 to 1986, but I see Tarver baby getting dicked all too often by posters in 2011.... Qawi of 1982 and 1983 would struggle quite a bit with 2003 to 2005 Tarver at 175 pounds.... Tarver ain't no *****, folks.....

It's usually the case when a notable modern fighter gets a pretty decent win.Somebody drags there name up in the old timers section,pits him against a fighter of the past and is unanimously favoured against and has his entire career and abilities are called into question in the process.


I genuinely think Qawi would rip a hole right through him,though.Qawi's too technically sound and elusive a pressure fighter for Tarver.I can just envision Tarver continually pawing with the right,trying to bait Qawi in and set up his own counters,and just getting repeatedly nailed by Qawi's own right hand counters.

 

Yup.Not even close.Tarver takes a hiding.
