Antonio Tarver vs Lateef Kayode - Predictions Thread

Tavrer by KO. Might be older but still a way better boxer and knows the game.

 

Tarver Via UD 12, Kayode has a low workrate, He'll get schooled mostly unless he catches Tarver, If he doesn't have a good chin, Maybe Tarver late KO.

Heres My undercard picks:

Quillin-Wright: Quillin UD 12, unless he get Wright from Bhop fight or before after this giant layoff, which I just can't see. This will be a 118-110, 117-111 type UD for Quillin. Who has looked well schooled lately, Impress with his stoppage of McEwan.

Trout-Rodriguez: Trout UD 12, Trout has quality boxing skills, I think he will win a fairly close but clear UD, But Delvin is better then his record says. Poor guy has been robbed verses guys like Wolak, Jackiewicz, Theophane. Delvin won't make this easy but Trout wins.

Maligna-Santa Cruz: Malinga SD 12. Cruz is one of GBP's good prospect, But he is a little overhyped I feel, He is limited in some ways. Malinga is one of Hasegawa's KO victims, No but seriously he is coming off a good win to Michael Domingo, And has a win a few years ago to Thai legend Veeraphol Sahaprom. So he is a very serious challenge for the inexperienced Santa Cruz. I think Malinga wins.

Bika-Davis: Bika UD 12. Nice fight on Showtime Extreme! Bika is one of them tough gritty fighters, Been is some street fight style boxing matches, Ward says he also gave him his toughest fight ever! Also gave Bute a tough test a few years back. Davis has some boxing skills but also a low workrate often. I think Bika roughs him up, wins UD.

Bogere-Leyva: Bogere TKO 5. Also on Showtime Extreme. Bogere is a good prospect, Leyva is an old vet with many losses, Easy one for Bogere.

 

Tarver to take Kayode the full 12 rounds, somewhere he's never been before, and win by UD.

tarver is old but has alot more expierence and alot more skills. fought better opposition . i dont think age will b a problem. kayode is not that good. he never really looked impressive on shobox n this is his first true test n old washed up tarver n i still think he will fail.

I think Tarver is going to take him to school. I used to think Kayode had potential but I've concluded after some of his recent performances that he's just not that good.
