The scorecards will be all over the place. Too many close rounds that could go either way.

Cunningham has clearly been winning the 2nd half, way busier, and backing Tarver up.

If he keeps this pace up, he'll win.

10-9 Tarver. Cunningham needs to win the next big.

    Round 11

Cunningham is holding off as Tarver clowns a bit, spinning his left fist out behind his butt. Tarver emits a "WOO!" after blocking a Cunningham jab & chopping right. NICE left hand by Tarver, plugging Cunningham in the belly while hurtling in from the ropes after resting on them a moment. Tarver is very wily, drawing Cunningham into various traps. Lots of leaning over by Tarver, jabbing the belly, leaving his chin exposed and looking to sucker Cunningham into attacking so he can plant the left on him. Cunningham isn't gong full retard but is giving Tarver some of the opportunities he's out to create. Tarver is doing very nice work landing the left hand on the abdomen from outside, then diving in too low for Cunningham to respond with more than a smothering clinch draping himself over Tarver's exposed back. Nice 1-2 up top by Tarver.

    10-9 Tarver

    105-104 Cunningham

The eleventh was maybe the clearest round of the fight. Anybody that gave it to Cunningham, I need you to come speak with me after class.

USS always losing close fights because he rarely ever just outright wins rounds. But I do admire his grit.

Tarver not doing anything. He's just not busy enough in this last round.

    Round 12

Cunningham is jabbing and clubbing down at Tarver's left ear with the right hand. Tarver is getting sloppier - but no more active - with his counters, mimicking Cunningham with a lazy right jab and some left handed chops from too far out. Tarver starting to work combos - left uppercuts behind a double jab and 1-2-1-2s, but still careful not to overexert, resting after each sequence of any real length. Neither landing well. Cunningham is hopping around Tarver, on his toes. Cunningham is scooping his arms low to catch Tarver in a net as Tarver submerges to whip both arms wide into Cunningham's sides. Cunningham has Tarver's arms clasped as though ready to perform a "Pedigree" finishing move, before Esteves breaks them. SOLID left hand by Tarver with half a minute left. Cunningham roars to life and leaps at Tarver, flurrying and missing until caught in a clinch. Decent late action. Big right hand by Cunningham, missed.

    10-9 Tarver

    114-114
