Glowacki-Huck is now my front runner for FOTY. Had consistently good-and often great action throughout, multiple changes of momentum, some heavy kd's, and a decisive, come-from-behind finish. Can't ask for much more than that.

Tarver-Cunningham was actually better than I thought it was going to be, after a slow start. Once Tarver started setting and successfully springing traps, the fight became pretty intriguing; and it heated up pretty nicely near the end. Draw was a fair result.

    Really good night of boxing.

If the last decade has shown anything, uts that the best CW basically never fight each other.

Those looking for a tournament will have to keep on waiting

Tarver-Cunningham put me to sleep. Very average fight. First time I had seen Huck fight. What a shame, for his first US fight. Huck appeared shot, though. Like he has been at it too long. Just lacked the heart. When he couldn't get Glowacki out he sort of just folded later. I don't think the shots were that massive by the Pole. Huck had just had enough. Both guys have good power in both hands. Both KDs were with their off hands. Impressive. You kind of wonder if Huck wasn't hurt worse than we think at the end of the first round.

    Why was the Cunningham-Tarver a 12rounder?

We've not seen unification bouts but we have seen top 10 Vs top 10 regularly-
    Bell Vs Mormeck (twice)
    Chakhkiev Vs Wlodarczyk
    Cunningham Vs Adamak
    Cunningham Vs Wlodarczyk (twice)
    Cunningham Vs Hernandez (twice)
    Droz Vs Wlodarczyk
    Haye Vs Maccarenelli
    Haye Vs Moremeck
    Hernandez Vs Arslan
    Hernandez Vs Ross
    Huck Vs Afolabi (thrice)
    Huck Vs Arslan (twice)
    Huck Vs Lebedev
    Huck Vs Ramirez
    Lebedev Vs G.Jones
    Lebedev Vs Kalenga
    Makabu Vs Mchunu
    Ramirez Vs Afolabi

Yes we would ALL prefer unification bouts but those top guys Vs top guys fights seem to happen more often in the Cruiserweight division than many others.
