:nod I am picking up what you - wait. No. What am I saying? I'm not picking up any used needles. :blood
Winner is not fighting Wilder, if Wilder fighting again in September. Too soon. Wilder if he doesn't face his mandatory next, which his manager has said he wouldn't, I think will be looking at Szilpka and Arreola. I do like this fight can't wait.
Solid fight. Cunningham by decision, but a Tarver knockout wouldn't shock me. Definitely the harder puncher of the two, Cunningham chin is showing signs of wear and tear, and he's still pretty game for a 46 year old. If I were a gambler i'd throw some money on a Tarver knockout. :think
Really interesting fight. Despite their ages both guys are still talented fighters and the winner probably becomes a lower top 10 heavyweight. I think Tarver is a solid favorite here and I'd lean towards a late stoppage but a decision is no surprise. Wilder is talking about 2 fights before Povetkin, on in Sept and one in December. The winner of this has to be a front runner for the Decmber fight(if that happens).
When Milk Dud loads up on that left hand it has quite a bit of power.. A Tarver KO is not out of the realm of possibility.
I do get the impression Tarver is the bigger, more durable and more powerful man even though he started (and spent most of his career) at light heavy and Cunningham was a lifetime Cruiser.
I actually wouldn't mind seeing Tarver win this one even though I am not a fan.. It would be a decent feather in his cap for this late in his career.
Both are born again Jesus freaks, unfortunately, so whomever you're rooting for is going to ruin it with a "glory to god" speech. :-( :blabla
Cunningham should win this but who knows. Use to be a big Tarver fan but the few years haven't been kind to him.
