Who? This guy barely beat a bum that retired 16 years then came out of retirement and was dropped.

Mason Dixon should stick to the past because that's when he had his glory days. His time has passed. Let Inoue enjoy his.

Arguably, the Pound for Pound number 1 boxer on the planet is Japanese, and the Saudi's are now the best paying promoters in the business.

    HBO and Showtime are gone.

2024 is going to be very interesting.

That's the whole point of P4P though. It's not like Inoue is doing the Menayothin thing, hanging out in minimumweight and mostly fighting in one country. He's cleaning out weight classes and fighting international opponents.

Who is Tarver? When all is said and done Tarver will have a better victory than Inoue could ever hope for.

I'm just going to say it. A lot of black fighters seem to have a real problem with Inoue for some reason. It's unfortunate because the guy has been nothing but professional, honorable and respectful as a person and a fighter.

He is P4P for sure, but not #1 or 2

Inoue just don't have many good names in his resume and sadly these divisions are very weak, but that does not mean we can ignore his skills, timing, IQ and power.

I get the feeling he's not considered a brother to Tarver. I'm really not sure why.
I heard some stories from Paul Smith and Liam Williams about also not being treated like bros.
It's almost like there might be some double standards in our liberal utopias.
But maybe it's just a misread.
Probably just my own prejudicisms clouding it all.
Now Kovalev, he's a bad guy, doe!

People want to come in and hate on Tarver by implying he's racist for and against whoever without even knowing what he said. lol They just comment, never look it up.

Tarver's top 10, let me guess, Bud, Tank, Bum Squad, Haney, Stevenson, Charlos, Errol Spence and the black dude Inoue koed.

These are strong divisions it is just you casuals who don't know the boxer's names. Chocolatito was a nobody for most of his career but a much better boxer than Canelo for example, who is generally accepted as the casual's p4p. It is not difficult to find almost 10 better boxer's p4p than Canelo currently.

This. Most casual viewers just aren't able to comprehend the depth and breadth of the sport because of it's multiple weight divisions and multiple belts. One has to be following a division to be aware if the fighters and the 'landscape'. And, the view that people think xyz on Inoue's resume is trash/a bum is just ignorant really.

The people that say they don't appreciate <130 lb boxers are strange. I personally don't have full appreciation for HWs as I just think they're lesser skilled boxers, but I still wouldn't and don't deride their skill & achievements.
