I came to that conclusion because a lesser puncher in hopkins put him on his ass and harder more natural lightheavyweight, that he's never seen the likes of can do worst. OH Wait....
And harder punchers than Hopkins havn't put him on his ass. You see, this is where your lack of basic knowledge rears its ugly ass head. It is as much in the timing and angle of a shot and whether you see it or are off balance, as much as how hard it is. Better luck next time.
Yup, yup, but if I can find a fighter on his resume that he fought that was as naturally strong as tarver or hit as hard and he made it thru the whole fight, than you'd have a point.
And lighter punchers have put Calzaghe down This kind of logic ain't no good, squire If a guy is caught flush whilst off guard/balance he is going down, unless the puncher is featherfisted Just a word of advice - don't bother slagging off Calzaghe to TFFP :deal
yeah i agree, adalaide byrd should take a long hard look at himself. he robbed joe of a blatant UD decision.
Don't think it will happen, Calzaghe is on his way out and MIGHT consider just one more fight and I don't think a fight with Tarver will be worth considering money-wise. I'm a little bit worried for Tarver in his next fight actually, Dawson is no joke and if he beats Tarver then he will be the one people asking Cazlaghe to fight, same with Pavlik if he beats Hopkins. One thing is for sure and as a big-time Tarver critic the man just fights the best, all the time when he's active he targets the biggest names out there. No one can take that away from him whether he beats or loses to Dawson.
And no, Kessler doesn't hit as hard as Tarver nor is he as good, so don't use his bum ass as an example.
Naturally strong? Tarver got treated like Hopkins old cell ***** back in the pen inside those clinches, you know when he got his ass handed to him and lost wide. Calzaghe on the other hand was competitive inside, so this doesn't quite back up your little theory there does it? Hopkins is way stronger than him, and on their respective showings it looks like Calzaghe is too. Who the hell has he knocked out except Roy Jones who had to cut down from fighting at heavy, and even got starched by Glen Johnson? It makes me laugh when people talk about this guy like hes some huge puncher. There is nothing in there that says he's a bigger puncher than numerous on Calzaghe's record.
Still waiting for this imaginary fighter that he fought, that was on Tarver/s level. Oh no, hopkins doesn't hit as hard , so you can't use him.
