Antonio Tarver will knock out Calzaghe

Canibus I know your new here and despite the title of this thread not being really out of line....your messing and trying to debate something that most Calzaghe fans can't comprehend nor do they dare enter into a logical debate on such a topic...
I'm a Joe fan as well I'm just not in love with him...To their credit I recently watched the Lacy fight again and can understand how these people can become so captivated by the welshman...that beatdown goes down in history as a top 10 beatdown of all time!!
But can Tarver KO Joe? Its certainly possible yes.....at this stage of Tarvers career I doubt it...but who knows? We will no doubt learn quite abit in both fighters upcoming fights

Prey tell, why can't I use Hopkins since he proved himself to not only be on Tarver's level, but 2 tiers above?

Clinton Woods put on his worst ever show and still heard the final bell - blessed with a good chin, perhaps slightly inferior to that of Calzaghe, yet Tarver couldn't stop him.

Oh - and when Tarver KO's Dawson (which he will :deal) don't restart this thread. Chad is nothing but a hypejob, and should have been concentrating on giving Glen Johnson a rematch

 

I disagree here Canibus....a prime Eubank was infact better than Tarver in my opinion...but then again did Joe fight a prime Eubank? NO!!!!
The only prime fighter Joe has fought was Mikkel Kessler...and now even that victory is beginning to look like **** as Mikkel is now fighting nothing but cabdrivers again.......the relevance and importance of a victory partly hedges on what the fighter does after defeat..

 

Mikkel has plenty of time yet.

The Longboat has hit some heavy weather with Haussler, but I can see a nice tail wind pushing him forward into big fighters thereafter. He will prove his worth.

 

The real prime Eubank was never seen again after the second fight with Michael Watson - he didn't sit on his punches nearly as much.

But still had a granite chin and the ability to make someone look stupid.

 

joe dont even have to fight tarver or dawson, he can beat rjj and retire.id have more respect for him if he beat jones and then fightd kelly and then retire.i would ask nothing more from him, the haters gone always find some body he should fight for one reason or another.but the reallity is he can beat jones and hang it up, but i think if he beat jones he should fight kelly.win that fight and just retire.

plus he could say he beat some of the very best in his generation and the next generation and undefeated.aint no reason to keep on fighting he has proven his point i think.
