Margarito is way to limited to beat Floyd. he needs to go back to the gym and 1st learn how to throw a propper jab or at least throw one :rofl , shorten up his hooks they are entirely to wide. That is absolutely ******ed. Pimp C is right, Margo is and has been only a limited fighter with his nuthuggers praising him for things he is not. He's a class B fighter who would be humiliatd by PBF. He's slow man. He telegraphs his punches. The only reaon so many guys (nuthuggers) got on his bandwagon is because he's Mexican. His resume is filled with no-bodies. I swear your comment that he could beat PBF has to be one of the most laughable post ever on ESB. How many times did I read how everyone was scared to death of Margarito and even PBF was hiding from him.
Still think he's hiding?? Even putting Margo as a class B fighter is a stretch. GO GETUM PIMP.

 

What a piece of garbage post. Margarito is usually a slow starter and Williams won the early rounds clearly. Even so Margarito was able to land a good number off effective body punches

As expected for Margarito came on in the second half of the fight but it was too late. I scored it 115-113 for Paul Williams and had it 6-5 for Williams going into the 12th round. I thought Williams edged the 12th round but if Margarito could've had a clear 12 round win he would've had a draw on my scorecard and 2 of the judges scorecards as well.

The morons saying that this proves Margarito is nothing are just blind. Paul Williams fought a very good fight and just flat outworked Margarito by throwing 100+ punches per round. Margarito definitely came on strong as he always does in the second half but he just lost too many of the early rounds to come back and win

 

You cats are really diggin in on this whole Margo was ducked deal....What a fukking joke the guy has lost every time he has stepped up. Tony is a hair better then average and no one is scared or ducking this guy, it was all about timing and the fact that Tony has rejected more fights then any fighter I can think of over that past 10 years.

 

No as I stated going into this fight is that Williams is like everyone eles that Tony has fought Unproven, untested, young up and comer. This time he got handled, now with that being said, Williams didnt fight a great fight, Williams didnt look all that impressive, he was just better then Margo. Now you guys are trying to turn this into Williams is the net great thing, and I dont think so.

did they say that he was being avoided or did they say that Floyd and Shane for whatever reason rejected offers to fight him. Not the same. As I said they were selling a fight, and if you were to sit one of those guys down right now and ask them that same question they would tell you what Im saying. It was all about TIMING and Arum playing off that Timing. Go back and watch the fight between Floyd and Judah and you will hear Merchant talking about Margo turning down the date to fight Floyd so that they could go ahead with that PPV card that say Tony fighting a 10 loss fighter.

If you cats want to hold on to the thinking that those fighters are scared of this average JOE while fighting fighters that are better then him then go ahead. hang on to that most avoided fighter crap, but keep tis in mind...The four best fighters that this guy has fought WHIPPED his ass. every step up fight he got his ass whipped.
