Floyd can call himself the welter champ, but I'd bet my left nut he never ever gets in the ring with Williams, Margo or Cotto.

He'll "invite" people to fight him at 147 from lower weights - like Hatton - and keep calling himself the welter champ, while at least the other guys fight each other.

There is no doubt at all Floyd is more skilled than any of those 3. He won't ever fight them though, because he can't hurt them, and they will hurt him for 12 rounds win, lose or draw.

If you missed all the typical HBO franchise bias and Stewart's "poor work ethic" comment and Lampley's "American born!" comment its because you did not see the fight (you were probably watching Roy) and just jumping on the anti Margarito bandwagon.

Margarito is still ranked and will be back on top but dont worry your Mr. excitement De la Hoya will somehow be right up there with him soon enough. Hmmm come to think of it Oscar could kill to birds fighting Margarito. A quick rout to welterweight rank and revenge for the butt kicking he got at Big bear.:think

 

I see Margo with some critical skills stamina,good chin,pressure fighter,good size,decent power he lost the fight last Saturday to a better man that night but I appreciate his effort even Williams admited he was hurt few times I don't think his lost will encourage some others fighters to climb the ring with him,Cotto vs Margo still will be a sold out.

 

If Margo is a fraud then Paul Williams is definately not the truth cause Marg was winning those championship rounds.

PW beat him but if he struggles so hard to beat a fraud how can he be the truth?

Floyd offered him a fight early in Margo's training camp for Gomez. Margo declined to continue with Gomez PPV which bombed.
