It would be a one sided beating similar to what Joe did to Roy Jones. Mundine would need to bring his bicyle to make it through 12. Imagine how tentative Choc would be with Joe just walking up throwing millions of punchers. No way in the world would Choc fight Calzaghe at 175. No f#cking way.
Mundine would be a way harder fight than what Roy was. Mundine has legs and that is the difference, you can also add Mundine throws a jab which Roy did not. Actually heaps of fighters would be a harder fight for Joe than Roy was.
Mandy might not be shot, but he is on the decline. He was also never as good as Roy. I also think Mandy would turn turtle after 4-5 rounds, he's cautious with much lesser opponents, how could he possibly let go with Joe. Mandy will not have good hand speed after the 6th as Joe would be wearing him down with constant pressure. Joe never stops and is so far above the level of fighters Mandy has played with over the last 18 months, he wouldn't know what hit him after about 3 rounds. The more I think about this fight, the more easy it becomes for Joe. Mandy is simply not on that level, never was, never will be.
Mundine isn't afraid of getting hit ? Who are you kidding. Mundine is nowhere near Calzaghe's level, and don't forget the fight would have to be at 175. After 3 rds of Calzaghe's non stop pressure Mundine goes into his shell and loses nearly every rd after 3 imo.
exactly, mundine got dropped by crazy kim ffs. If kim was a marginally better boxer, he would have put mundane to sleep as soon as he saw he was wobbly. Calzaghe pastes him, although a fight at the gabba would be sweet :happy even if some of the ticket price went to mundine...
That's how good Joe is - giving Kessler a boxing lesson and speaking to ringside interviewers about potential future opponents at the same time :yep
Ali's so called last fight was to be against a bum named Spinks.... The only thing that should be underestimated about Mundine, is his management.... perhaps this will prove us ALL wrong in time?? He struggled against taller oponents, due to being on the back foot....... Anything is possible still, although, very little light at the end of the tunnel is visible. Maybe he will fight Dean Waters on his way to the H/W crown.. Ha Ha fkn Ha...
a 'preasure', high volume fighter like joe, may bring out the best in mundine. hed walk on to mundines counters and make mundine work... at long odds, id back mundine by ko.......but probably joe on points. i still hate the ****.. . .
