Well done Mississippi boxing commision. Letting a 40 year old fighter with 1 win in the last 8 years fight a 17-1 guy. Hes scheduled to fight in Iowa next. Look, im all for letting the man continue boxing if he chooses, but he should gave to undergo extensive physical and mental testing and pass all of them. Theres a reason fighters in his position seek out fights is states with little or no medical requirements to fight.
Thanks for your wonderful contribution to the boxing community. Seriously, its just priceless, world class information your saying here. Again, thanks. :smooch
I like Echols, fantastic puncher and exiting fighter - his fight with Charles Brewer was unbelievable I'm surprised he's still fighting now, he's been around forever, with his fighting style it's not a good idea to prolong his career - with his background, he could find other jobs in boxing At this pace he is exposing himself to dementia puligistica too much
He was actually a pretty good fighter. Can't believe he did not win a belt back in the day. Fighting maybe the only thing he knows, sad.
