One of my coworkers bought himself a juicer and now he's like a juicer missionary. I keep asking him why doesn't he just eat the vegetables. His answer is that he can't eat the vegetables raw but he can drink the juice. Fair enough but is there any real advantage to juicing? It seems like just eating the vegetable would be better because you probably get more fiber that way.
T The common health advice where in from its to eat five vegetables a day (minimum) and one of those can be exchanged for juice. As you say, you miss out on an the fibres and just get the sugar (and of course vitamins etc). Probably better than drinking soda or not eating fruit how ever.
