any americans beside me like JOE?

Calzaghe is badly hated by most on ESB, its a shame because Ive always known he was a real good fighter.

I think he should beat Jones but it wont be easy, I regard Joe as the greatest ever champion at 168 & I would only bet on the 168 lb Jones to edge him H2H. He is a special fighter IMO.

 

i dont understand it how so many americans hate him,i mean i like boxers for there styles etc no matter which country they are from.
give him some credit.

I'm American and I love watching him. Okay, he slaps a bit, but then to anyone who ever watched his older fights he did the same but would sit down on one or two shots in each combination and they did some serious damage. His hands have changed his style a little, but out of all the current active boxers, JC, Hopkins and Calzaghe are easily the smartest and craftiest of them all. I cant think of any other boxers who can adjust their strategy mid round. We'll certainly miss these guys when they go, which ironically will be when Joe gets his dues.

So there it is, another American on board I live in the UK by the way, otherwise I'd probably not have heard of him. Shame the US doesn't get all the euro fights, might make my fellow countrymen open their eyes a bit more.

Because they overrate him way to much...one of his fans actually started a thread that if he beats Roy he is a TOP 10 ATG thats why... Top 10 :rofl :rofl :rofl

i would hope so. he is a great fighter but just doesn't have a great enough resume to be ranked even top 60 IMO

 

thats pretty obvious and also a great acheivement anyway. anyone who builds him up higher than that is either thick as **** or winding you up.

I'm a fan.

BUT.... It pisses me off that his other fans hype him beyond imagination.
