Good close fight as it looked going into the fight. What goes around comes around.Tough loss for Sturm but Geale squeeked it out.Just.

if this fight was in germany (?) then he must have won the fight pretty well. the germans are notorious for bad decisions going their boxers way.

I had Geale up by 5 rounds, but I'm an extreme hugger. :hey

Realistically there was 2 rounds in it.

I've seen plenty of overseas fighters get shafted in this country but never in a major world title fight (i.e. a fight with an IBF, WBC or WBA world championship on the line).

Granted, we don't put on the number of world title fights that they do in Germany but it's a fact that no overseas fighter has ever been screwed in a major world title fight in this country.

If anyone has an example of this occurring, let's have it.

There have been some dubious results in IBO title fights here but I don't regard them as being for major world titles.

Careful Whipper his mouth ended Lacy's career and that's exactly what will happen to young Geale if he puts him in with Super G . Shaw just strolls away when that **** happens , great to see Geale win back to back in the fatherland though i sincerely hope the fight after Sam yields him enough cash for that rainy day .:good

    I scored:

    1. G
    2. S
    3. G
    4. S
    5. S
    6. G
    7. G
    8. Even
    9. S
    10. S
    11. G
    12. G

115-114 to Geal in an extremely close fight. I would have been satisfied with a draw, or even if sturm won by 1 point, but not 116-112 to sturm.

Interestingly the judge who scored against geale had officiated one of geale's fights in Tasmania

Gelae has yet to fight a mandatory challenger since winning the belt, He may be forced to fight Golvkin very soon.... Sturm said if he beat Geale he would vacate the WBA belt..... None one these guys want anything to do with Geale, He needs to fight the winner of Chavez Jr vs Martinez and stay away from Golovkin while he can
