Agree with you there, more honest than other fighters. He actually admits that his head was telling him to quit n he wanted to. But he battled on to try and win
I haven't seen it, but i have a great deal of respect for Paulie. It must have been hard to take that beating (aswell as the ones vs Hatton and Khan) knowing that he had no chance of getting back in the fight by landing a big shot. Most fighters, even when they're losing wide on the cards, have at least a chance of landing flush and getting back into the fight. He has no chance of winning via KO against anyone with respectable punch resistance, yet still takes his beating and gives it a go. Commendable.
